Chapter 78 - Stuck Here With Me

“I won’t let them leave,” Ann argued.

They’re just plotting to kill Lucas. Allowing them to leave isn’t healthy for Lucas. He didn’t choose who he is.

“What do you propose?” Lucas glanced at Ann with curiosity.

“Watch and learn,” Ann said. She disappeared in a flash of light and appeared behind Maureen and Pablo. They were already making their way out to call for backup. “Leaving so soon?”

Maureen flicked around firing a shot. Ann disappeared into thin air. “Show yourself witch!” she yelled.

She was supporting Pablo. When he was blasted, he made a rough landing on the ticket counter hurting himself badly. It’s difficult for him to move without Maureen lending her shoulder.

“Let’s leave… come on, come on!” he cried out.

“Not so fast,” Ann reappeared and stood before them. She narrowed her gaze at them. She drove her staff upwards with one powerful thrust, blasting them into a blue portal. She glance
