"What are you two bickering about?" I swore I heard a tiny bit of jealousy, but it vanished even before I could process it. "Are you thinking of fighting for the second time? Try it and see!" She threatened, and I knew whatever she had in mind this time around would be dangerous, so I controlled my anger and walked out of the room.

I needed fresh air, and staying back in that room was suffocating me. So I turned around and walked towards the door without sparing a glance at either of them.

By the time I had walked to the door, Precious called me back, "Hey Duke, where are you going off to? Leaving in situations like this wouldn't make things better, but rather worse. So come back here, let's sort things out like a family." I ignored her, pulled the door open, and walked out of the room.

I could swear I heard her curse, but I didn't care, at least not now. If leaving them alone would calm myself, then why not?
