8. Love

It has been two weeks since the last time he saw Brody. Hendry hated that he has been missing him, but he had agreed to give him space because Brody wanted whatever they had between them to stop. And so he had asked Sloan to fill his schedule to the brim, jammed-packed to the last minute.

His assistant didn't ask why he just stepped up and back to being professional. The man didn't even flinch when their eyes met. It was as if nothing had ever transpired between them.
