Halbert's mind finally began to relax, he felt as if he was borderline madness. Since being forced to crawl off the battlefield joy began slowly seeping into his soul. The warmth of tears began slowly flowing down his face, he could taste the saltiness when they touched his lips. Silently, just this once, he would allow himself to cry in front of another just this one time.
