Chapter 73: The Wedding Is Happening

"You know, Kenzie, these are only available in Braeton - your grandma's special loaves," Ethan said, offering a box of pastries to Kenzie. "You sure are... going to miss these."

Kenzie chuckled at her father. She accepted the box and said, "Thank you, Dad. I will visit now and then to taste these lovely treats. My pregnant self will constantly look for them."

"Hmmmm." Ethan gasped. He stretched his arm to wrap it around his daughter and with narrowing eyes, he said, "You know, home is where the heart is. Braeton."

With that, Kenzie laughed boisterously. She threw her head back at her seat, her eyes watered as she tried to hold back her amusement. 

The Wrights flew all the way from Braeton to witness and be part of Kenzie and Andrew's wedding ceremony. That night, the father and daughter were having their lone time, exactly seven hours before Kenzie's wedding. They were both settled at the balcony of Ethan and Samantha's hotel suite, catching up.&
