I was almost certain I hadn't heard her right, "what do you mean by he is dead? That is just as good as impossible."

Bethany turned to look at Ryan, "I get it he's hot , like really hot and what not," her eyes flickered back to mine, "but he's not worth killing Alex over."

"I would never... Where's his body?" I couldn't piece all the information together.

"Girl, I think you've done enough damage, do you know how devastated everyone is just knowing the alpha won't be with us anymore?" She continued to rant at me, putting her hair in a ponytail every now and then.

I couldn't physical process this nor mentally. I stood to my feet and Ryan came after me.

"Where are you going?" He held my arms in place to stop me from reacting dramatically.

"We have to leave now," I held his hands, "I know you are probably tired and exhausted from the journey but this is for the best, I can't take another...."

He held my cheeks just in time, "you don't need to explain anything to me, it's fine really."
