"Nadeline?" I had yelled into the phone when she had picked up and it had been followed by a series of yelling from her end of the phone only for it all to disappear when she suddenly went quiet. My heart was thribbing in my chest. "Nadeline!" I yelled on top of my voice, getting to my feet from my desk.

Beta Sean had called me back because there had been reports on water poisoning and it was spreading rapidly and he had no way to stop it and thought that the longer I was away from the pack, the more the chances there was if people's lives been at risk.

The phone call disconnected after a series of screams from her I tried to pick up what she was saying but I couldn't she was just shouting and the background noise was really busy.
