I waited patiently for alpha Ryan to respond but the silence was louder and his face did not shift into any emotions. I could hold on to it as a detection of what he was feeling. Alpha Ryan interrupted what I was saying, getting out of the pool after seeking to move me away from him. I was upset because none of those were actually my fault but I would also feel the same if he had been the one to tell me that he had found his mate and it wasn't me.
