Chapter Eighty One
Millie's Point of View
I was once again back to being a typical miserable teenager. I had no boyfriend and no friends. I'm so goddamn lonely! Me and Chris aren't allowed to see each other anymore, and while I understand my parents reasoning behind it, It just wasn't fair.
Chris was a friend long before we even slept together and we had been through so much together. It wasn't right that we just had to cut each other off. Yes, There was an attraction between us, I think there always will be, But nothing sexual would ever happen again.
It was strange. With Cole, I didn't care if he was my father, I still loved him, I still wanted to be with him, Nothing changed, But with Chris... Everything changed.
Chapter Eighty Two He leaned down and placed his lips onto mine once more, I could feel his hands roaming my body, Giving special attention to my now erect nipples, Twisting and pulling them. They reacted to his touch so magically. Leaving one hand playing with them, the other slowly, and almost teasingly made its way between my legs. No doubt I was already soaking wet, but the fact was confirmed when Cole ran a single finger up my fold, before showing it to me, gleaming, covered in my desire. 'Someone's ready for me aren't they?' He playfully questioned, before popping the digit in his mouth, Tasting me 'Mmm, You taste as good as ever'. I felt so shy at that moment, I wanted to turn and hide, But as if he knew what I was thinking, He wrapped his big s
Chapter Eighty Three We got redressed and sorted out Grandma's study before moving to sit down in the living room and talk. There was a lot to discuss, like why did he come back? Where had he been? What has he been doing?... and most importantly.. Where did it leave us now? We sat down, and he instantly took my hand in his, it made me smile. Just a small act of affection showed so much love. 'I never stopped loving you Melissa, Not for a second'. I couldn't make eye contact with him, I wasn't saddened by his comment, but it made me feel a little down. If he loved me so much why did he leave? 'I left because I thought it was the right thing to do at the time, I couldn't see a future with you if you were my daughter, no matter how much I loved you'. 'Wha
Chapter Eighty Four *** YEARS LATER *** Unknown Persons Point of View Standing in the shadows, I watched my prey.. all of them, Carrying on, Enjoying their evening. None of them had any idea that I was there, The Patrova’s and all their closest friends, Including Christopher Knight. Celebrating. I had to wait until Cole had forgotten about me, Easier and quicker than I thought, considering I murdered his Ex-Husband. He was too busy keeping his new love happy, Big mistake. The authority might have succeeded in hiding my crimes from the Vampires, But, It doesn't change the fact those crimes WERE committed And was I done? Was I hell! &n
Chapter Eighty Five Cole’s Point of View ‘Thank you for putting all the shit behind us and being here today' I whispered to Kane as we stood at the end of the aisle, waiting for the bride, and the bridal party to make their entrances. Things were still a little tense between my brother and me. Understandable I suppose, but today was an important day, And I was glad he was able to move past that, even for a little while and be here. 'I'm not here for you Cole'. I knew he wasn't. That wasn't my point, but I just nodded and turned away, Letting it lie. Looking around the room, It was almost breathtaking at how packed the church was, Guests filling every single seat, Family, Friends. My mother held back her tears at the sight of
Chapter Eighty Six Millie’s Point of View I stayed quiet as Cole drove the car through town. It’s so upsetting that an amazingly special day like today, the day we bring our baby boy home, is almost ruined by what happened last night. I can’t believe that Cole was keeping something like this a secret from me. A fucking Serial killer!? Really? I looked over at my Fiance in the driver's seat. He was focused on the road, but I could tell he was trying to get into my mind and find out what I was thinking about. ‘Stay out of my mind’. I warned him bluntly. ‘Sorry, I just wanna make sure you’re ok’. I took a deep breath, I really didn’t want this day
Chapter Eighty Seven When we pulled up at the house, I was so glad to see everyone’s cars and no one waiting outside for us. Getting out, Cole went straight to the backseat and unlocked the baby. I watched him and then we headed into the house together. It was strangely quiet. Walking down to the living room, Everyone was in there, Cole’s mum, Mum, Dad, Chris, His Husband, Constantine and Kenna and Maggie, They were talking among themselves, not realising I had come into the room. I cleared my throat, trying to get everyone's attention. It worked. They all turned to look at me, Waiting for what the big surprise was. ‘Thanks for coming everyone’.
Chapter Eighty Eight *** A couple of Weeks Later*** I came bouncing down the stairs and headed towards Cole’s study. I knew he would be there, working. My parents had decided to take the children for a couple of days, to give me and Cole some alone time and to bond with Orian and to spoil Maggie. She wasn’t getting upset, but you could just tell that she was a little down sometimes when people would pay lots of attention to the baby and maybe not as much as we should to her. She understands that a baby NEEDS extra attention, but we really need to remember that it’s probably hard for her, going from being the only child for hundreds of years to suddenly having a baby brother. She adores him,
Chapter Eighty Nine Ginny’s Point of View Maggie was up in her room, I wasn’t sure what she was doing, but she was being good and quiet, so, I can’t really complain. I had to remember sometimes that she’s NOT a child and therefore could be trusted to be left alone without needing to worry. Kane was currently having cuddles with Orian in the garden and I was making him a bottle. I remember making these for Millie back when she was a baby, A human baby. Of course, she could eat normal things or drink blood. Screwing the lid on the bottle, I walked out the back doors and into the sunshine where my husband and grandson were sitting. Grandson. That's so strange.
