Chapter ThirtySix

I only followed the blonde guy through the house for a few minutes before he stopped a girl walking past. He grabbed her arm and even from a distance I could see that he was rough with her. 

‘Take this bitch to my bedroom. Get her settled’. He told her with no more context before he just simply walked off. The girl, or rather a woman, just looked at me. Her expression was so blank, almost dead. 

‘Follow me’. She ordered simply and turned to walk away. I followed her, having to quicken my pace to keep up with her speed. She had insanely long legs so one stride for her was like two for me. I was expecting her to say something, anything, to me as we walked but she didn’t and it was pretty much just awkward silence.
