After a few more minutes, we are pulling into the circular drive of our Mediterranean style home. It's complete with white stucco, clay roof tiles, a large fountain in the middle of the driveway, and well-placed palm trees.
This home is literally my oasis, my haven. I love living here. When I was a girl, I would admire houses of this style but I never dared dream of owning one myself. But when Marcus and I were climbing up the property ladder, I vowed I would one day get a house like this one.
So, when we decided to sell our last house and move closer to the beach, I insisted we look for something that would transport me to one of my favorite coastlines in the world. When this home came up on our radar, I knew it was going to be mine without ever having stepped foot inside.
