Amy kept staring at her phone, waiting for his call. She has been doing that for over a week now. Since Bryan left for Italy, Amy has spoken to him only once. He had called to check on her and to let her know that he’ll be really busy, so he won’t be answering any calls. Although she was sad to hear that, she tried to be understanding. He had promised to call when he comes back from his business trip, but it’s been almost a week since he got back and she is yet to hear a word from him.

Amy is beginning to lose her patience. She’s trying really hard not to be a clingy girlfriend and just wait for his call, but she can’t help but feel worried. This is the first time Bryan has broken a promise and it doesn’t sit well with her.

‘Should she give him a call or should she wait a few more days for his call?’ she thought to herself, already staring at Bryan’s name on her contact list. The thought of not knowing why Bryan hasn’t called was getting her frustrated.
