Serenity explained everything to Logan as well as the contractor and walked back to her apartment to take a shower and have lunch. She went up to the second floor and unlocked the door. She went inside and locked the door after her.
"Where did you leave that boyfriend of yours?" Growled Alexander's voice. Was she dreaming or was it really Alexander's voice? She pinched herself and winced in pain. Looking around she stood shocked seeing an angry Alexander sitting on her sofa right in front of her.
