Chapter 9 TWO FACED ALPHA

FEDORA’S POV

I was about to leave but then I thought I should at least inform him. It’s not like he cared but at this moment I felt the need to. As I was about to go near him I overheard his beta and him talking to each other which made me halt in my tracks.

“You finally got your Luna Alpha and fortunately she is everything you wanted in your Luna.” His beta said in a soft tone which was quite different from the way he announced this year's hunt rules.

“Not everything,” Lorcan mumbled and took a sip of his champagne.

“What do you mean?” His beta questioned.

“Nothing.” Lorcan tried to dismiss the conversation but his beta was quite curious.

“Look I know you just wanted to a Luna to keep your pack stable and maintain a balance. But at some point, you’ll have to give her a chance. I know that it is not what you want but you’ll have to do it. It is your duty.” His beta was trying to be sensible but no part of their ridiculous conversation made sense to me.
