Chapter 25

Ryleigh took a shower before leaving her room and heading to the playroom. She stood before it for several minutes before Lucas arrived.

No one spoke until they entered the building. And Rye had the opportunity to observe him for a bit as he closed the door. He was dressed in basic pants and a white shirt. His muscles contracted, and when she caught a glimpse of his butt, she cursed in her mind.

She knew that he took a shower because his hair is still damp.

The man remained silent until he went to his mini-fridge in the left corner of the room, close to the door, to retrieve something.

Rye continued to observe him until she noticed the container Lucas was carrying.

"Are you ready to play?" he inquired as he approached and sat on the edge of the bed. The container remains in his grasp.

"Ah, Rye." His head movement drew her attention and brought her back to her senses. "Why do you always require me to repeat myself? I thought you had an average IQ, but this is simply a basic inquiry," h
