Chapter 100: Developing feelings.

“We’re done for today,” Mabel heard her physiotherapist say to her, and she turned off her machine.

“I’m going upstairs,” Mabel then said, not bothering to say her goodbyes to the woman. All she wanted was a cool nice shower. Her meeting with Nala had made her thoughts disorganized as she wondered why Nala looked at her with so much disdain.

If only she had her darn memory then she would have been able to sort things out but that didn’t look like it was going to happen soon.

Once she had overheard the doctor speaking to Christian about her amnesia and the doctor told Christian that one of the reasons she had still not regained her memories was because she was happy with her peaceful life and her brain didn’t want to bring her painful memories. It seemed her amnesia was a way of escaping from her past.

It made Nala wonder just how terrible her past life was for her brain to lock those memories away. She wanted to know and she was going to find out. As soon as she was done with the
