Vincent

"What is she doing now?"

Nathan sighs. "They're still just talking, Vince. That's all they have been doing for the last hour—talking."

I'm still not convinced. I had Nathan follow Sarah around to watch what she does in my absence and she had the galls to meet with her boy toy Jared.

That little Minx!

"How is she talking to him?" I ask him grimly.

"What do you mean how is she talking?" Nathan asks, confused.

"Is she laughing, smiling, touching him? Does it seem intimate or just friendly?" I clarify, my voice tight with barely concealed frustration.

The thought of her with Jared, acting like they used to before I came into the picture, gnaws at me more than I care to admit.

Nathan pauses for a moment, as if considering his words carefully. "It's mostly friendly, Vincent. Sure, she laughs at some of his jokes, but it's not like they're all over each other. They're just sitting across from each other at a café, having coffee."
