Chapter 60

Jessica walked closer to Blake and put the towel on his short, stiff hair, and started rubbing it.

He was a strange man indeed. There was a hairdryer in the room which could dry his hair faster and more conveniently, yet he did not like the buzzing noise, hence she had to resort to the old-fashioned way.

Blake looked at the laptop screen and said, “Come with me tomorrow.”

Jessica’s hands froze. She did not sign anything or whatsoever. All she did was stare at his messy short hair.

Did she hear him wrongly?

Blake noticed that her hands had stopped. When he turned around, he saw that she was petrified, so he asked, “What’s wrong? Can’t you understand what I said?”

Jessica really did not understand what he meant. She thought she heard it wrong, but when she saw his impatient look, she was certain that she got it correctly.
