"Come on! Ain't nobody gonna bring my bag for me?"

Lucas looked back and laughed at Esther who was left beside the van with her huge luggage.

“Oh, Lord, I have four brothers and not even one is a gentleman to carry his poor sister’s bag,” she continued complaining while looking up.

He looked at his other siblings who pretended they did not hear Esther. Levi, of course, was already occupied by Myrtle. Elijah was on the phone and Ezekiel was wearing his headset. His gaze landed on their parents’ next. They were also looking at him but did not say anything but a smile was gracing their lips. They were telling him without saying anything that he takes care of their youngest family member.

Lucas walked back towards his complaining sister and took her bag. “Why on earth did you bring so much with you?” he complained when he realized that her bag was heavy.
