Third person's p.o.v

Happy moments were never meant to last for Linda. Everytime happiness would come, it would knock at her door and take a U-turn.

Right now was her best friend, standing in front of her. Disappointment was shown on his face. She did the thing she promised him not to do. In other words she disrespected him by disobeying him.

"Max."

She stood up and looked at him with remorse. Meanwhile, Daniel sat proudly with an attitude and locked his eyes with Max. He smirked.

Max balled his fists and gritted his teeth. There was no way he would fight him without talking to Linda.

How come he was here with Linda on top of him? The thing he needed to do was to talk with the person who allowed this. He did not call for the past few days because he drowned himself in work to be able to finish it as soon as possible only to return back to his favourite person.

But things turned out to be different.

"We need to have a talk."
