A decision to make

OLIVIA'S POV

I watched her step out of the car, looking exhausted, as some maids went to meet her to help her get her things inside. She asked about her kids and gave the maids some things before she made her way to her room.

I was angry; I had been waiting for the news of her death for hours, only for her to return in full health. She wasn't even injured. She looked like someone who had enjoyed her day and had returned home to rest for the night.

I was so confident in my plan that I had already told myself this day would mark the beginning of their misery, as I knew the death of Lady Catherine would take a toll on them.

It was annoying, making me want to throw up. Without thinking, I screamed at the top of my lungs, grabbing my head as I continued screaming, not minding if anyone would hear me or not.

I was still lamenting and crying to myself when my aunt connected with me. “Hey, Olivia,” she called cheerfully, breaking my heart more.
