The truth

OLIVIA'S POV

Alpha Leo shook his head; he seemed to be in disbelief, or maybe he just decided not to believe what I said because it was too much for him to take in.

He continued shaking his head as he looked around the room, “This isn't true, is it? Jaycee… You and Jaycee are pulling a prank on us, right?” He asked, a nervous smile playing on his lips.

Seeing the look in his eyes and how much he trusted me made my heart ache. I wished I could turn back the hands of time to the day I just arrived in the mansion, and I would have done my things differently.

At that moment, the thought of revenge was no longer on my mind, and all I wanted was to just make things right. I felt like I'd been a fool for so long, and desperately hoped it wasn't too late for me yet.

I looked at his face as a tear rolled down my cheek; I had been composing myself well, trying my best not to cry, but seeing him that way made it impossible for me to hide my tears or hold it back as I had been doing.
