Noel was softly groaning in pain. He was trying hard to stay awake, but Faith and Levi could see that they were slowly losing consciousness. “You are bleeding,” Benji told Piper. This was the third time in a row that he said that to his sister, and each time the concern in his voice grows. He had trouble looking directly at her wound, but he kept glancing at her as she drove through the dark roads. Her heart was pounding in her chest, as she was scared that someone was going to attack them. She wouldn’t have felt this way if it was just her, but now she had her brother with her. He lowered his gaze before he tightly closed his eyes and held onto the seat tightly.
