Chapter 26

Freya’s Pov

I dragged my heavy leg up the elevator. It was as though a rock was tied to it, I basically scraped my leg on the cold floor while I walked. Getting into the elevator I pressed the button to my room. Immediately in my room, I pulled my sorry ass to the bathroom.

The bathtub was filled with warm water with honey splashed inside. The sugary coat of it floated on the water. There were some maids in my room waiting for me to finish my bath.

While in the bathtub I slumed inside. My head disappeared from the surface of the water and I sat inside the bubbling water and held my breath. I was tired yet my mind was the marketplace of thoughts.

Jude, the head court's word roamed my mind. I had thought that when I would be left with my thoughts that it would be about how frightened I was speaking to him, how I panicked when I first heard his status and what he had come here for but rather my mind was numb to those thoughts, quiet and indifferent.
