Lara had indeed gone to Chácara Amanhã, but she arrived there drunk.

Just the thought that the party was happening in the condominium made her heart race, and the desire to drink almost killed her. She hadn't planned on drinking, of course not, especially since she was going to a place where nobody drank and they struggled to stay sober, but she brought a small bottle just in case.

She also brought the medication prescribed by the doctor, but she hadn't started the treatment yet.

She asked Márcia to take care of her house and left. She called a taxi and arrived at Chácara Amanhã at five o'clock and this time was greeted by Murilo. She hadn't noticed how handsome he was the first time she was there. Polite, like everyone there, he took her to the main hall, where most of the residents or those who didn't live there stayed.
