Chapter 118 A Pure Feeling

It was almost time to clock out. Susan and the other four had left first. Jessica had a document to photocopy, but the photocopier on the top floor was broken, so she had to run downstairs. It was almost quiet during closing time, and there was no one competing for the photocopier.

After copying the document, it took about 10 minutes. Jessica returned to the top floor, where she saw Mr. Marcus glaring at his wristwatch. The scene of their intimate time flashed through her mind again, her face burning.

Mr. Marcus lifted his gaze to meet hers, his face wearing a sly smirk. "I thought you ran away!"

Jessica's eye twitched. "I'm not that cowardly!"

As she sat back at her desk to organize the documents, Mr. Marcus leaned in, propping himself up on her desk. His scent enveloped her, trapping her in a small space.

"Don't bother, the boss is giving you time off!" Mr. Marcus chuckled wickedly, his warm breath reaching Jessica's nostrils, carrying the familiar scent of mint.
