Damien glared at the laptop with fixed gaze. He had opened the laptop to continue his work but somehow last night's incident kept on distracting him until he was in a trance of thoughts.

His mind again being evil and cunning was trying to convince him of Emma not being at all innocent. It told him that he mad a big mistake in telling her how he truly feels. About how he had loved her all this years. True. Part of him wanted to believe that Emma was not innocent but his heart said otherwise.

His mind kept on playing games with him telling him that Emma was a clever manipulator in using his love for her against him. He suddenly got angry letting his evil mind play games with him.
