Chapter 47“You almost done Alli?” Alice calls out from the door way just as I turn off the shower. I sigh, sticking my head our of the door to see my friend looking at me.“Give me a minute to dry off.” I call back, getting an okay from her before the bathroom door closes. Taking a deep breath, I step out of the shower and grab the fluffy towel from the rack beside it, wrapping it around my body. I have a few more minutes left to myself before I need to prepare for the broadcast. Chapter 48Standing in the dressing room, I peak out from the behind the curtain to see an array of reporters from news crews to social media bloggers to those looking for a scoop for the Zalaris Star - the Capitol City’s news paper. Chapter 50Looking at my reflection in the full length mirror, I do my best to make sure the hickey Sky had given me yesterday is hidden. Today is the day of my first Ball in the Palace and I do not need tongues wagging within the Nobles gossip circles.
