Chapter 129

Then they heard sounds approaching them from all directions. Warren couldn't even pinpoint how many there was. He pulled Olivia closer and he could feel her breath racing against his neck. Just then, at least 10 wolves jumped out of the bushes from all directions. Warren wasn't scared for himself, but he was worried about Olivia. 

Olivia involuntarily let out a scream. She knew that it was over for them. There was no way that Warren could defend the two of them from the wolves. They were outnumbered and since wolves are so fast, running wasn't an option either.

"Close your eyes for a bit. I'll be right back," Warren said. Olivia's trembling came to a halt when she heard Warren uttering those words. Just as she closed her eyes, she instantly heard the cries of the wolves around her. Each one only let out one howl and then it was quiet.
