Chapter 55

One hour later, Warren and Samuel walked into the cafeteria. They didn't have time to buy anything for lunch, so they though grabbing something quickly would suffice. 

Warren was clad in some of his new clothing. He wanted to see if people would still refer to him as a pauper if they saw him dressed neatly. 

As expected, the moment they set foot in the cafeteria, everyone's eyes immediately fixed itself on Warren. They didn't think he would return after what happened to him. The looks they gave were not looks of admiration as Warren expected, but rather looks of pity. Warren had to lose his family in such a gruesome manner, yet he couldn't even seek justice from the law, because Charles promised to retaliate if he did. A young girl walked over to Warren and embraced him with a hug. 

"Mr Cole, I'm so sorry about what happened. I didn't know how you were doing, so I thought I'd leave you alone. Please accept my apology," Christina said.
