"Don't worry about it. I'm fine." Maya said having cleaned the blood from her face and bandaged the cuts. It was an hour later and they were in their lockers closing for the day as Julie was frustrated with Maya already.

"No, you’re not fine. She used her NAILS to make such cuts on your face, deep cuts and you are just telling me not to worry. Maya if you have gotten yourself involved in some shady werewolf business...tell me. Why would one come after you? " She said as Maya sighed.

It was a known fact that the Edwards family were rumored to be wolves although they never did confirm or deny it. Humans had their speculation going around and this incident now just confirmed it for her.

Julie was in the dark about her being a wolf as well, she didn't want to know what Julie would think of her if she realized that she was among the same breeds that Julie loathed with passion.

Would she be able to see beyond the monster stuck in her to realize that she had been the same Maya she knew?
