Chapter 62

In the thick weather of the night, a gentle breeze swept through the curtains, making its way into Rilla’s room.

The light sensation made her groan as she came to. Her hand raised to clutch her head as a massive migraine was pounding away at her skull bringing her back to the land of the living.

She felt very weak even after the nice nap that she had.

For her, it was a quick nap and it was giving her such pain. Hence, she took some aspirin that she found on the table beside her which helped her to gain some reality check.

The entire house was quiet, and her room lights were turned off which was funny because she had left it on before falling asleep but shrugged it off thinking that it wasn't a big deal.

She could smell Maya's residual scent around which probably explained that she had come in to tell her about her date, found her asleep, and left.
