Gaia POV.

Walking towards my father’s office, I still don’t know what he wants to talk to me about. So I am utterly clueless and don’t know if I need to approach with caution or if he is just being a dick. Either way, I will not let it show that this is making me nervous.

Knocking on the door, I know he isn’t alone. I can scent Helios and Xander in there with him.

“Come in Gaia.” I gulp and take a calming breath as I plaster a smile on my face and open the door. Walking in, I see my dad sat at his desk and Helios and Xander are sitting in front of him. Nicholas is sitting on the sofa. Why didn’t I scent him? Oh, the sneaky bastard was cloaking his scent. Why didn’t I do that? Stupid Gaia.
