"I'll take it." before Celcelia's mom could say a word, I snatched the briefcase from her hands, close it, then smiled at them. "I hope this gonna be the last time our paths cross. Thank you so much, for this, Madam Mayor."

Afterward, I hail a cab heading back to the bunker. I cannot transform myself into a bat when the sun was already up. Bats are more sensitive to the sun than the moon.

But I haven't tried shifting into a bat beyond six in the morning though. I wanted to at least try for once but I am worried my bats might get burned from the rays of the sun.

Even if I have a daylight ring that protects my vampire from the heat of the sun, it is still not an assurance since my body will be divided into pieces when I shift into tiny bats.

On my way to the bunker, my brain could not help but wonder about Cecelia. Although I already agreed not to see her again, I could not help my brain from reminiscing about the short period we shared.
