Chapter 22 - His Feelings

Jennifer herself didn't like what she said and when she looked at Asher's face, her face drained more. His jaw was clenched and his head was lowered down.

His hands were curled up into fists and in the next moment, he banged on the desk hard making her scream. She got scared when he looked at her with his deep red eyes and in a blink of an eye, he was in front of her towering over her small figure.

"What the hell did you just say?" He asked in a rough voice and at that moment his mind was only roaming on that word 'brother'!

He was looking at her intently without blinking his eyes, making her heartbeat increase rapidly each second.
