Chapter 57 - Intimidating

Jennifer cut the call and displayed a smile towards Asher who was still looking at her intimidatingly.

"Spam call!" She said, acting cool, and kept the phone inside her pockets again.

"Have your hot chocolate, otherwise it will get cold!" He ordered, motioning towards the mug and she nodded, taking it in her hands.

She took a sip of it and made a face at it while he kept looking at her weird behavior.

"I need more sugar, I will be back in a minute!" She excused herself and ran away downstairs, making him shake his head at her cute antics.

He was happy and felt peace at heart as tomorrow, they would leave for her hometown and it would be great for them as they would be able to have some peaceful days without worrying about anything.
