Chapter 69 - His True Feelings

He called Jennifer on her phone but she wasn't picking up the call so he called Adrian to take her parent's number from him.

"Hello, Adrian, can you give me your dad or mom's phone number?" He asked him.

"What happened?" Adrian asked him while strolling around in his college.

"I came back for urgent work and thought to call Jennifer but she isn't picking up my call so give me one of your parent's numbers, and I will call them and ask about her." Asher told him and he gave his father's number to him.

He instantly called her father and luckily he picked it up as he was reading the newspaper and the phone was lying beside him.

"Hello!" Her father spoke first.

"Hello, father-in-law. I was calling Jennifer but she wasn't receiving my call. Where is she?" He asked him.

"Asher, she went to Tyler's house, she must have left her phone in her room!" Her father informed him, making him sigh.

"Okay, tell her to call me when she comes back." Asher told him and they bid bye to each other.
