Chapter 21

Jodi was in the kitchen helping Daniel and Barb clean up the dishes from the buffet when Trina came through the swinging door. “Hey, guys, Rita wants us to meet her by the pool.”

“Why?” Barb said.

“She wouldn’t say, but she’s out there waiting for us. Jackie, Jesse, David, George Bonnie, and Danielle have already headed out there.”

“Well, I guess we better get out there,” Jodi said and wiped her hands on her apron and took it off.

They left the kitchen and walked into the bar area.

Jodi stopped in the middle of the bar. She didn’t see Matt, she figured he had left.

“What’s up?” Trina said.

“You guys head on out there. I’m just going to get Tommy to watch the bar,” Jodi said.

“Okay,” Trina said. Barb, Daniel, and Trina headed out the door that led to the hotel lobby.
