Meeting Ava

I woke up when I felt something heavy on my hands and tried to move my head, a sharp pain hit me and so did the rest of my body feel the same pain. I slept in a very uncomfortable position and it had resulted in why I felt so many pains all over my body. My eyes traveled to my hands that seemed heavy for some reason. Then I saw Genesis holding my arm like it was a pillow that she could cuddle. 

I stared at her with relief in my heart before I checked the time. It was already 8:am and I had so many plans for that day. I haven't been to the office in days and I needed to at least work from home if I didn't want things collapsing on me. But the first thing in my mind was putting a smile on Genesis's face, I had to do something I knew she would want, something that would make her extremely happy. 

I turned back to the lady who was sleeping so peacefully. I took her hands off mine
