"Then, I'll get going now," I smiled at him before turning away.

I'll be okay. It will be okay. Everything will be alright. Let's just ride the wave for now. Things will eventually fall into place; I'll just have to wait and see.

I was inside the elevator when my phone beeped, indicating I had received a message. I quickly took my phone out of my pocket, thinking it might be Luca reaching out to me. I pressed the letter B in the elevator to lean against the wall glass while opening my phone. Upon seeing the message, I felt relieved that it was indeed Luca who messaged me.

I'm on a date; don't bother me.
