"Okay..." He inhaled deeply unable to bore my silent treatment. "If that brings you peace, then I'm more glad to accept your punishment, but I won't give up on you." He cupped my face in between his large hands.

His eyes lingered on my lips and before I could realize he crashed his lips against mine taking me in a complete utter shock.

The kiss was tender and warm, but I didn't protest against him. For some reason, I want to pull his collar down and kiss him effectively until we are running out of breath.

Ohh! the damn hormones!!

"I will take care of you and our baby. This is the promise of your husband." He kissed my forehead, his lips dwelled on my forehead for a minute.

"I'm leaving. Take care." He said and turned his heels to leave. "My heart is always open for you." Was the last word I heard from him before he left my apartment.
