The blonde man ran back and dutifully informed Darion, "They're charging you with kidnap, Mr. Carter."

"What did you just say?" Darion removed the cigarette from between his lips.

"I just wanted to take her to the top of the mountain to see the moon. Why are they accusing me of kidnap?"

"I don't know. The police said it was Mr. Ford who made the accusation."

Darion was speechless. He got out of his car and confronted Blake. "You're Blake, right? I heard you're accusing me of kidnap."
