Chapter Twenty One

She threw a small pebble in the running water of the river. She couldn't take off his sight. He was looking totally different from his cheerful personality. She stared at it until it sank in the water. She bent down and grabbed the bigger one.

     Kellen was sitting on the hood. Kami was sitting on the passenger seat with a fully open door. Tessa was leaning against the car. Their stares were only on her. She chucked it with full force and it reached the centre of the river. She was frustrated. Panic built inside of her body as she recalled the sight, " What would Dylan do to him? " She asked. 

      " Who are you talking about? " Kellen asked after a long pause. But she was thinking no one would answer her. 

      " The guy who poisoned my juice. " She said and bent again to pick another handful of pebbles. 

      " You should not think of it. " Kellen said.
