Everything was so slow and it seemed like every sound became muffled. The loud cries of fear from the people at the back came out as voices from under the water. The loud crash of the car after I unconsciously turned the car wheel into the creek came out as background music. Liam's scream that came out inaudible, mouth wide open, eyes bulging out from its socket, his body moving in slow motion, hair slowly lifting up that I could see every strand of his hair.

I stared at him with adoration, he looks so cute even if he's crying in fear, the way how his mouth forming in unreadable motion, the way how his hands were shaking and didn't know where to hold and he's panicking.

"...era!"

His mouth stretched widely, slowly calling my name and I smiled back at him. His words earlier turned everything off, the world stopped spinning from its axis and I never felt so happy until today.
