Chapter 83 – The couple will say their own vows

“Maeve, you made it,” Doreen pulled Maeve into her arms as soon as she appeared at the doorway, panting from using the stairs because the elevators were so busy as a result of so many waiting guests at the hotel.

It was her wedding day but she was already tired and rushed to the bathroom after breaking from the hug and allowing the warm shower to calm her.

Doreen followed her and reminded her,

“But you are forty-five minutes late.”

She was already wearing her bridesmaid dress and had her makeup and hair done.

Maeve turned off the faucet, pulled a clean towel, and began to wipe herself dry.

She had already seen all the people waiting for her and thought to freshen up, though she already bathed before stepping out of her mansion but she was all sweaty and could not wear her gown like that.

“I’m so sorry. The bitch was more difficult than I thought but she was lucky to relent before it was too late,” Maeve recounted whilst putting on a towel robe.

She stepped back into t
