177. Heavy Heart

"Do you have any idea where he might have gone?" Franco asked Denny.

He, as the father, was as clueless as Chloe. Franco was hoping Denny knew somewhere or anything, like anything useful to find Desmund. "He isn't well yet; the findings of his conditions are not yet clear."

Denny was startled. He had not been so active to check on Desmund's condition for a few reasons, honestly.

First, they weren't close. As Denny grew up, Desmund was the male version of Denisse's image in Denny's life.

Then, having to do the tasks Desmund had abandoned due to his accident. An accident that Denny was assuming, more or less, was a result of Desmund's reckless and offensive driving, Denny was not very excited to help, but he was left with no choice. And lastly, Denny was confident Desmund was being attended well at their very own facility. He was being attended by the best in the field of whatever he needed for assistance in order to recover speedily.

"What do you mean?" Denny asked with uncertainty
