50. Panicked

"Hello?" Trisha timidly answered the phone as soon as she saw Marie leave, and after she swallowed the food in her mouth. But in her haste, she still had to clear her throat.

"Oh, sorry. You must be eating right now. Call me later, when you're done, okay?" Denny did not even wait for Trisha to answer. He decisively ended the call and stood from his seat, and walked to the storage room where he was supposed to go before he got the text from Trisha.

Denny thought he could call her later when she was done, but he might also forget when he gets too engrossed working, so he asked her to call him instead. He was confident Trisha would do as he asked. She should eat her meal first.
