I run away from them as fast as I can. I can run far someone grabs me in my arm, and I know exactly who that is—the only touch that makes me feel like I want to risk everything for him.

“Baby, where are you going? Why are you running away from me again?” He pulls me into his arms, squeezes me, and kisses my head. I cry so hard in his chest as I hug him back so tightly. 

“Baby, stop crying, please? I can’t see you like this. It’s killing me. What’s wrong, Abbygail?” 

“Do you like her? Do you love her?” I ask him while I’m still sobbing. Though I shouldn’t have bothered asking him because he won’t be here if he doesn’t love her. But why does he have to be nice to me? Why does he have to call me baby?

He pulls away and stares at me in shock. “Who? What are you talking about?” He looks hurt and confused.

“Her.” I point my finger at the woman who is crossing her arms around her chest, shows enough of her B-size
