A certain presence
My mother would only call me during work hours only if it was an emergency.She respected protocol. When I arrived,I saw a second car parked in the yard. I didn't even have to knock at the door as it was wide open. It was as if calling out for me to enter.

Watching silent voices on my laptop,helped remind me that life doesnt end now,but instead continues on. I sometimes wondered what I would feel once I was dead,would I cry? Feel sad? Feel angry?
