Usher was surprised by what Ma'am told him and not only him... but the three men as well even though she weren't talking to them. They were suddenly frightened by what Ma'am Jacky had done, especially her nephew. He saw that serious looks many times already, so he knows what it means she does that.

“Just follow her instructions,” Ma'am said again. “Besides, combining your four brains and skills, I'm sure you can solve this situation better than the police could have. Maybe you can even get ahead of them.”

The four were silenced at first because of that.

“I think Ma'am is right,” Clyne said just to break the silence. “With Usher's brains and expertise, we can find a loophole out of this and find Xania in no time. It's just that, her manager is making it hard for us.”
